ACI eHBL 216 – Is it correct that the eHBL CCN must always be different from the ACI S10 supplementary filing number?

The ACI 8000 reference number and the eHBL 8000 Cargo Control Number (CCN) are two distinct numbers and should not be confused. It’s important to recognize that the ACI 8000 reference number is not a Cargo Control Number. As soon as a freight forwarder commences filing eHBL data and Close Messages, the necessity for any ACI S10 Supplementary filing will not be needed since the eHBL 8000 CCN serves both the purposes of risk assessment and the Customs release request.
