ACI eHBL 274 – We have a quick question regarding specific eManifest filing requirements, if any, for cargo of Canadian origin being returned to Canada. The cargo will not clear at the destination but will be turned around at the foreign point of entry and re-exported to Canada. Do we need to file an eHBL for this?

According to CBSA guidelines, if Canadian goods are returning as part of a consolidated shipment, an eHB must be provided within the prescribed timeframes. For non-consolidated shipments, a primary cargo must be provided within the prescribed timeframes.
