To report a Flying Truck shipment on an ACI eManifest, the carrier must set the flying truck quantity on the truck or trailer where the shipment is loaded. The carrier can then transmit the ACI eManifest with only the trip portion, as the Flying Truck shipment is the only thing being transported. The driver must present the air carrier’s paper documents, including the air waybill completed with the air carrier’s cargo control number, to the officer at the border. The shipment must then be delivered to a sufferance warehouse license to receive air cargo.
