It is important to submit data to ACAS before consolidating and loading cargo onto an aircraft. This enables risk assessment for each shipment and the necessary screening to be conducted in a timely manner. By submitting data to ACAS as soon as possible, any determinations of Do Not Load (DNL) can be communicated to industry stakeholders quickly and efficiently, with minimal impact on operations.
