ACE In-Bond 03 – I received a rejection with the message “Invalid DDPP”. What does this mean?

When filing an in-bond type shipment and you receive an error of “invalid DDPP” in the cargo section, it is most commonly caused by incorrect data entered for the “In-bond Destination port code”.

Example cargo below: The Port of crossing for this trip is 0712 – Champlain and the In-bond destination was also entered as 0712, and it received the invalid DDPP error message.

To verify the correct details, obtain a copy of the bond if it’s not already provided. Refer to the section highlighted with the red star “Certificate of lading for transportation In bond and/or lading for exportation for”, this will indicate the correct In-bond destination code that you will need to input.
