When co-loading, the primary carrier should have the CCN on hand and must provide it to each freight forwarder they are allocating space to in an ocean container or airline unit. Every tier of forwarder needs the primary carrier’s cargo control number for the eHBL transmission. However, the Housebill Close message is filed to the previous CCN, not to the primary CCN.
