If the trip is in an Accepted status:

STEP 1: Send the trip and cargo as DELETE.

STEP 2: Once the trip comes back in CL status (Cancellation Accepted), change the trip number, click SAVE.

STEP 3: Send Trip and Cargo as ADD and click Send to Customs button.

If the trip is in Draft status:
