The following shipment types are considered exempt from normal clearance processes when entering Canada via highway carrier: Instruments of International Trade (IIT), In-Transit, Flying Truck, Courier Low Value Shipment, Postal Shipment, Emergency Repairs, and Empty ACI eManifest (which may not be required at all ports, but is still recommended).
