Affirmation of Compliance (AOC) codes are codes assigned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to indicate that a food product has been reviewed and meets certain requirements. AOC codes are used in the Prior Notice process, which is the process by which the FDA receives advance notice of the arrival of certain imported food products.
