To comply with the rules, it is necessary for filers to submit cargo information at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of a foreign trading vessel from the port of loading, if the vessel is intended to enter a port in Japan. For example, if a cargo originating from Europe is transshipped at a port in Singapore, the cargo information should be filed at least 24 hours before the vessel departs from the port in Singapore.
