ACI eHBL 240 – What happens if we clear an air shipment directly at the airline’s warehouse sub-location? Do we have to give them a paper release, or can we use the eHBL system?

If the warehouse doesn’t have Deconsolidation Notices capabilities, the only available option is to present paper stamped by Customs. Therefore, it’s crucial to contact all carriers and warehouses and request that they program their IT systems to receive the Deconsolidation Notice (Deployment 4 Notices eCCRD Chapter 11). This notice will authorize the movement of the 8000 and provide visibility to the primary carrier’s warehouse, allowing them to release the shipment. Every forwarder should call every carrier and warehouse to ensure they implement the Deconsolidation Notices.
