After making corrections in response to a rejection, it is important to identify the specific issue referred to in the rejection response before resubmitting the transaction. If the shipment has not arrived at the port, the resubmission should be labeled as “Change.” If the shipment is already at the port, the resubmission should be labeled as “Amendment,” and a reason for the amendment should be added before submission.
