Freight forwarders will be notified by email or phone of shipments requiring enhanced screening. Freight forwarders may have an opportunity to segregate or screen their shipments under their National Cargo Screening Program (NCSP), or as an authorized representative of the carrier. Freight forwarders who cannot perform enhanced screening should communicate the ACAS disposition of the cargo to the carrier, and the carrier will perform the screening.
