ACE In-Bond 02 – What are the types of in-bond movements?
  1. Immediate Exportation (IE; Type 63) entry permits the immediate export of foreign goods that arrive at a U.S. port without paying duties.
  2. Immediately Transported (IT; Type 61) entries allow foreign merchandise to be transported to another U.S. port, where a subsequent entry must be filed.
  3. This entry enables foreign merchandise arriving at one U.S. port to be transported through the U.S. and exported from a second U.S. port without paying duty.

In addition to the primary in-bond types, policies and regulations may require in-bonds for other purposes.

A vessel supply for immediate exportation (VSIE) is the same as an IE in-bond movement, except that the merchandise is loaded onto a vessel or aircraft;
A vessel supply for transportation and exportation (VSTE) is similar to a T&E in-bond movement except that the merchandise will be loaded on a vessel or aircraft;
The Warehouse Withdrawal for Immediate Export (WDIE) entry allows withdrawn merchandise from a bonded warehouse at one U.S. port to be exported from that same U.S. port without paying duties;
A Warehouse Withdrawal for Transportation (WWT) entry allows a bonded warehouse item to be transported from one U.S. port to another U.S. port where an entry must be filed;
A Warehouse Withdrawal for Transportation and Exportation entry enables merchandise withdrawn from bonded warehouses in one U.S. port to be transported through the U.S. to another U.S. port and exported without paying duty;
Withdrawal of Vessel Supplies for Immediate Export from a Bonded Warehouse (WDVSIE) allows merchandise withdrawn from a Bonded Warehouse to be loaded aboard a vessel or aircraft for immediate export from a U.S. port;
An entry for warehouse withdrawal of vessel supplies for transportation and export (WDSTE) is used to withdraw merchandise from a bonded warehouse, transport it across the U.S., load it onto a vessel or aircraft for transportation, and export it from another U.S. port after transportation.
