ACI eHBL 102 – After November 1, 2020, we will begin to transmit eHBL data for both consolidated shipments and for single, back-to-back shipments. Will we need to send our 8000 manifests to the broker, or continue to send the 9000 of the carrier?

Before November 1, 2020, we provided the Customs broker with the 9000 Carrier manifest for back-to-back shipments. Starting from November 1, 2020, we will transmit eHBL data for both consolidated shipments and individual back-to-back shipments.

Once the freight forwarder starts filing eHBL for back-to-back shipments, the only manifest that will be sent to the Customs broker is the eHBL 8000 manifest.
