Any business or individual that imports or exports goods into or out of the United States is eligible to file in ACE. This includes importers, exporters, customs brokers, self-filers, and other parties involved in the import or export process. In order to use the ACE system, businesses must first register with CBP and obtain an ACE account, which will allow them to access the system and submit their import and export data electronically.
