From a transactional standpoint, the system will enable an ISF Filer to update an existing ISF with a new bill of lading number. It is important to note that the ISF Importer is responsible for submitting the ISF in a timely, accurate, and complete manner. The ISF can still be amended, as long as it is done within the 24-hour timeframe.
