Electronic corrections for cargo data can be made before the goods are reported or arrived in Canada for the eHBL and Close Message. After reporting or arrival, certain data elements can be corrected electronically as amendments. However, for certain key data elements, Form BSF673 must be completed after acquittal. The CBSA systems will accept post-arrival amendments on House Bills and House Bill Close Messages until the record is transferred to the archival history database, which usually happens after 90 days.
