ACI eHBL 233 – If the eHBL is issued by a non-bonded freight forwarder and the marine carrier handles the in-transit movement either to a warehouse or border crossing, who gets the notice?

The owner of the eHBL, or freight forwarder, will be notified upon arrival of the eHBL through an Arrived Notice and will also receive a Deconsolidation Notice for the House Bill Close. The Warehouse Operator quoted in the House Bill sub-location code will receive a copy of the HBL Arrived Notice, and the Marine Carrier quoted on the Primary Cargo who delivered the in-transit cargo to its destination will receive both an Arrived Notice and a Deconsolidation Notice for the Primary Cargo.
