ACI eHBL 239 – If the MAWB is consigned to the forwarder, and we submit the single 8000 eHBL, can we clear out of the airline’s warehouse?

If the primary carrier’s Master Air Waybill (MAWB) is consigned to a freight forwarder and a forwarder’s house bill exists, then the 8000 electronic House Bill of Lading (eHBL) must be filed 4 hours before arrival, and the release request will be made under that 8000 cargo control number. This is a significant difference between eHBL and the previous ACI supplementary filing. The implementation of a “Deconsolidation Notice” at the airline’s warehouse will authorize the movement of the 8000, enabling the goods to be released and cleared from the airline warehouse. It is essential that everyone asks their airline carriers to implement the Deconsolidation Notice.
