For cargo destined for Canada, clients should file the eHBL. For cargo destined for various countries, if the vessel arrives in Canada and the freight stays onboard as the vessel sails to the US or another destination, clients should file the s10/Supplementary filing. If the cargo is railing towards the US under the control of the shipping line, an eligible active rail carrier should transport the load from Canada to the US, and no eManifest filing is needed. In the case where a vessel arrives in Canada and unloads, clients should file an eHBL to Canada and present a re-manifest form at the long room for cargo to be released.
