The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE Ocean) platform allows CBP to process ACE Ocean submissions from ocean carriers, freight forwarders, port authorities, and terminal operators.

Ocean Carriers are required to submit cargo data at the master level. A freight forwarder can submit the HBL data directly to CBP, or the ocean carrier can submit the data on their behalf at a fee.

ACE Ocean eManifest allows Secondary Notify parties to receive updates on B/L’s they have been designated to receive.

Submissions can also include ISF(Importer Security Filing) data, also called “10+2”.
