An In-Bond is a U.S. Shipment Type for goods to clear through CBP. It allows for the inland movement of goods that have not been Customs released. 

When a customs broker is submitting information to CBP through the Automated Broker Interface (ABI) this is known as a QP in-bond.

When you’re self-filing bond information in the ACE eManifest, this is known as an ACE in-bond.
