ABI 003 – What is Reconciliation?

The Reconciliation Entry Summary filing system allows importers to file entry summaries with CBP using the best available information, understanding that some elements like declared value may be outstanding. Importers can then file a Reconciliation later on with the final and correct information. The Reconciliation is liquidated with a single bill or refund as appropriate.
