ACI eHBL 118 – Please explain how there...

In a Buyer’s Consolidation, there may be several eHBL 8000 CCNs, all destined for the same importer. The freight forwarder’s Close Message links all these 8000 CCNs to the “Previous” Cargo Control Number, which is the same as the carrier’s Primary Cargo Control Number in each eHBL 8000 transmission. This results in the primary carrier’s CCN being “cancelled” by the 8000 CCNs, and all of them can be attached to a single Customs release request.
