The Master Co-Loader is in charge of concluding the Master Bill of Lading (MBL). The Co-Loader must finalize the file of the Master Co-Loader with regards to the HBL they have submitted. The party submitting the HBLs under the associated parent BL is responsible for closing the related parent BL (also known as “Previous CCN”). To put it another way, the Co-Loader that submits the HBLs under the Master Loader is accountable for closing out the MBL of the Master Loader.
