If Japan Customs acknowledges difficulties in electronically filing cargo information via NACCS due to electronic or communication issues, the filers must comply with the instructions of Japan Customs and submit the cargo information in writing by the filing deadline. However, no filing is required in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes or man-made disasters such as war.
