Invalid Bonded Carrier ID rejection will appear if you are filing an in-bond shipment using INBOND as shipment type but are not a bonded carrier.
Only bonded carriers are authorized for in-bond transactions. If the carrier is not bonded, they may request authorization from a bonded carrier. Once received, the Customs Assigned Number of the bonded carrier can be used to transmit the in-bond shipment.
Resolution:
- Verify with the carrier if they are a BONDED CARRIER or if the EIN number or ID number given is correct.
