The third-party service provider should be able to handle all the necessary tasks on your behalf. However, it’s worth noting that registering for the CBSA Portal can provide additional benefits such as the ability to access your own shipment information and track your own shipments. Additionally, in case of any issues or errors with eHBL or Close Message data transmission, having access to the CBSA Portal can enable you to review and correct any errors in the transmission data.
