To comply with ACE manifest regulations, trucks must ensure the ACE manifest as well as the entry number provided by the customs broker (PAPS shipments) are in CBP’s database at least an hour prior to arrival. Those who do not comply may experience delays at the border, be refused entry into the U.S., or face penalties.
