To respond to public comments and relax the application process, Japan Customs has decided to adopt a more lenient deadline for filing cargo information for some shipping routes within the seas around Japan, which are difficult to modify to adjust a form of logistics to the new system but can still ensure a certain level of security assurance in conducting risk analysis by Japan Customs.
