If the shipment is accepted with CBP, the shipment must be cancelled before changes can be made to the shipment control number or shipment type.
STEP 1: Select the checkbox next to the shipment control number, select the Send As function as “Cancel” and click Send Trip with Selected Shipments button.
STEP 2: Once the shipment returns in CL (Cancelled) status, change the Shipment Control Number, save all changes.
STEP 3: Resubmit the shipment. Select the Send As function as “Add”, and click Send Trip with Selected Shipments button.
