If the shipment is accepted with CBP, the shipment must be cancelled before changes can be made to the shipment control number or shipment type.
STEP 1: Send the complete ACE trip as a cancellation by using the Complete Manifest > Cancel menu.
STEP 2: Search for the trip you would like to cancel, select the checkbox on the far left and click the “Cancel Trip” button at the bottom of the page.
STEP 3: Wait for the trip to return in CL status, which indicates that the trip has been successfully cancelled.
Note: When cancelling a trip, all associated shipment’s will also be cancelled.
