In-Bond -A procedure where merchandise can pass through the United States without having to pay duties or taxes before entering domestic or foreign trade. During transportation, the merchandise must be covered by a custodial bond to protect the interests of CBP and other agencies. In-bonds cannot be used for prohibited cargo.
