Imports, In-bond, In-transit, and FROB:
- The carrier submits non-consolidated pre-arrival electronic cargo and conveyance information directly to the CBSA, including detailed consignee and shipper information.
- The freight forwarder is not involved in this process.
For Consolidated Air and Marine Shipments:
Imports, In-bond, In-transit:
- The carrier provides consolidated pre-arrival electronic cargo and conveyance information to the CBSA, covering freight forwarded from one freight forwarder to another, including all types of freight.
- The freight forwarder then submits pre-arrival electronic house bill data, including detailed consignee and shipper information.
Consolidated FROB:
- The carrier provides consolidated pre-arrival electronic cargo and conveyance information to the CBSA, covering freight forwarded from one freight forwarder to another, including all types of freight.
- The freight forwarder then submits supplementary reports to the CBSA, including detailed consignee and shipper information.
