The CBSA may enforce monetary penalties under the Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) for clients who do not comply with eManifest requirements. Penalties may be issued for the following infractions: failure to provide advance information, failure to comply with an electronic Customs risk assessment notice, providing incomplete, inaccurate, or false information, failing to transmit the required information within the specified time frame or manner, and failure to notify the CBSA of any changes in the data.
