For those using a third-party service provider, there is no need for additional testing or registration with the CBSA for manifest forward. The third-party service provider should have already gone through the necessary testing with the CBSA and once they are successfully certified, they will handle all eManifest messaging for their clients. It’s important to confirm with your service provider if they have the capability to send and receive manifest forward data and if it has been integrated with your system. If clients want to receive this data, they may need to make a separate request, which may come with additional fees.
