If the ACI S10 Supplementary data was filed and the cargo loaded, the freight forwarder may process the Customs release using the primary carrier 9000 CCN. Alternatively, the freight forwarder may file eHBL data and Close Message, in which case the Customs release request will be made using the eHBL 8000 CCN. As of January 4, 2021, the eHBL data and Close Message must be filed within the specified timeframe, or the freight forwarder risks receiving a zero-rated AMPS NPA (Notice of Penalty Assessment). The eHBL 8000 CCN will be used for the Customs release request when eHBL 8000 secondary data is filed.
