ACI eHBL 132 – For ocean transshipments, will the 24-hour filing time frame correspond to the initial port or the transshipment port? What happens if the information changes (e.g. sub-locations, vessel details) after cargo arrives at the transshipment point?

The marine timeframes pertain to the previous port of departure prior to the shipment of goods to a Canadian port, meaning that the 24-hour period prior to loading at the final transshipment port before Canada applies. It is possible to modify or adjust eHBL data and Close Message data through an electronic Correction after sailing and before being Reported (CACM) or Arrived (WACM).
