ACI eHBL 276 – If Canadian goods are returning within a consolidated shipment, an eHB within the prescribed timeframes is required. Should we file the eHBL movement type as import or inbond?

According to CBSA, the “import movement type” and “in bond movement type” can be used interchangeably, meaning the system doesn’t differentiate between the two. If the shipment is destined to Canada you can use import movement type regardless if it is clearing at FPOA or an inland warehouse.
