Carrier is responsible for the data transmission of marine conveyance (A6) and cargo (A6A) reports electronically to CBSA 24 hours prior to loading of cargo at foreign port.
STEP 1: In A6A menu, click Create.
• Header Section: Select A6A Import for the Form type and key in all necessary fields.
• Select the correct Customs Procedure listed on drop down.
• In Schedule Section, provide information that indicates mandatory field (*)
• Once done, hit “Save & Proceed” button.
STEP 2: You will be re directed to the next tab Party where in you have to provide the Shipper and Consignee Address. Delivered To Party and Notify Party are also available but not mandated.
• Once done, hit “Save & Proceed” button.
STEP 3: You will be re directed to the next tab, Shipment. Click on the detail and provide the information below. Once done, hit the “Save” button.
