For shipments regulated by Single Window Participating Government Department and Agency Programs, release must be done using the Integrated Import Declaration (IID), while goods regulated by other PGAs can be released as usual. While paper entries can still be submitted at customs ports, they may take longer to process, so the CBSA recommends submitting entries via IID whenever possible.
