Upon receiving a discrepancy information, Japan Customs will review the contents to determine if cargo information was filed by the deadline. If it was not filed, an advance notice of the “SPD” will be sent based on the Ocean (Master) B/L unit of cargo information. In this case, there is no need for the filer to contact Japan Customs in advance.
