It is important to note that all maritime container cargoes, regardless of the type of vessel, intended for entry into a port in Japan on a foreign trading vessel, including non-container vessels, must be filed. To meet the rules, the filers must submit the cargo information at least 24 hours before departure of a port of loading on a foreign trading vessel intended for entry into Japan.
