When presenting Personal Effects in ACE:
STEP 1: Go to Section 8-Shipment and click Create button.
STEP 2: On Header 1-Shipment Type, select 3299 – Declaration for Free Entry of Unaccompanied Article (for unaccompanied personal effects on a commercial shipment) and provide all necessary information in ACE filing.
In addition, provide the 3299 Declaration for Free Entry of Unaccompanied Articles (find attached) and present it to the CBP officials.
