Participants have the option to receive automatic status notifications instead of sending a status query message to determine the processing status of PARS release documentation/data by the CBSA.

The CBSA will send an “Declaration Accepted – Awaiting Goods Arrival” notification based on the participant’s profile, which includes carrier codes, account security number, and office codes, whenever a recommendation of “to be released” or “to be referred” is made.
